Year 3-water transportation in plants

17th July 2020 By Admin Linda

We have been following some of the Oak National Academy lessons.

One that we particularly enjoyed was the experiment learning about how water is transported in a plant.  The children in Year 3 were all given a piece of celery and could choose a food colouring of their choice (red, blue or green).

We watched the Oak National Academy lesson, and then set up our experiments. We left them a week, and then checked out our results. The children who used blue had the best results!
